This type of equipment offers a protection up to 1000 times the permissible exposure limit set by the CNESST or any other government regulation applicable.

The RH420 consist of a premium hood that covers the head and neck. This hood is by design made to protect one from hostile environment filed with airborne contaminants. The hood is equipped with an elastic faceseal which molds itself to the shape of the user’s face. The facepiece consist of Tychem QC, a patented material by Dupont which is completely waterproof, alkali-resistant as well as resistant to some inorganic acids and pesticides.

3M manufacturer’s code: H-420-10

This piece of equipment gets its NIOSH homologation when assembled with the other components recognized by the manufacturer as part of a complete system. It offers a protection to up to 1000 times the permissive exposure limit to contaminants when properly used with a 3M GVP system.

Maintenance:
Please note that the RH420 textile part of the hood kit is disposable, thus no maintenance is required.
