First stage filter for particles 20 µm or bigger. Designed for the filtration pump unit that goes on 1658-3421 series TeleShower (SAH6) for asbestos decontamination.

This filter is the first step of the filtration system which has two filters. The primary filter (SAH6PFP) captures particles the size of 25 µm and bigger that get in the water waste of the asbestos decontamination shower. Most particles smaller than 20 µm travel through the first filter to be filtered by the second filter (SAH6PFS) which captures particles the size of 5 µm and bigger. The dynamic between the first stage filter and the second stage filter greatly contributes to the effectiveness of the decontamination shower.

Please note that once the shower has been activated, both filters will contain asbestos fibers. One must thus handle the filters cautiously when disposing them.
