This waterproof polyester suit is made of 200 denier yarns. The interior is coated with PVC to make it waterproof. The manufacturer is silent on its waterproofing rating. All seams are taped. This lightweight, flexible coat is ideal for casual use. It is recommended for workers who are not surrounded by vehicles.

Design:
The coat
The coat closes with a plastic toothed zipper protected by with flap closure and hook and loop closure. This coat is easy to wear over warm clothing while allowing good air circulation thanks to its loose fit. A light mesh lining covers the upper back for added comfort. It has small ventilation holes in the front, back and underarms. In addition, it contains two large pockets with flap closure in the front. The sleeves of the coat are also equipped with snaps to adjust the width of the opening.

The detachable hood of the coat is adjusted with an elastic cord. It is easily removed and reattached with snaps on the corduroy collar. . A special feature is that the hood can be used as a storage bag once the raincoat is dry.

This coat is not flame resistant.

The pants
These pants can be easily worn over warm clothing while allowing good air circulation thanks to their loose fit. For more waterproofness, these pants are not equipped with a fly. Plastic snaps near the ankles allow adjustment when wearing work or winter boots. The adjustable suspenders include an elastic back and can be detached at the front via a plastic clip. These pants are not flame resistant.

This PVC-laminated polyester set was made with 200 denier yarns. In simpler terms, this outfit should be lightweight. By definition, 200 denier expresses the weight of 9,000 m of the yarn used, so 200 denier equals 200 g. The manufacturer Terra is not able to provide the thickness of the chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC) lamination. However, it assures us that the polyester knit offers very good resistance to tearing and abrasion.

Waterproofing:
The waterproofness of this set is ensured by its double seams covered with adhesive tape. Workers usually wear this type of raincoat when they have to perform tasks that expose them to low or moderate risks of chemical splashes. PVC is a thermoplastic polymer that is resistant to chemicals, oils, greases, acids, bases, solvents, oxidizers and ozone. It is also abrasion and stretch resistant.

PVC coated fabrics are recommended for workers who work in environments where the temperature varies between -5°C and 18°C, and is accompanied by precipitation and strong winds. This raincoat keeps workers dry during heavy rains because PVC is non-porous; however, it does not breathe, so a sauna effect created by perspiration can occur. Therefore, it is important to choose clothing wisely based on the efforts to be made at work.

Maintenance:
The manufacturer does not recommend washing this item in the washing machine. In addition, it is recommended to hang it to dry. It should also be air-dried away from direct sunlight. This set should never go in the dryer, be ironed or dry cleaned.
