Final stage HEPA filter for the air scrubber of the HEPA ZONE 24 portable work enclosure (SAH12) or any other air scrubber that requires a 24" x 12" x 3" HEPA filter. Sold individually.
No returns or exchanges.
This filter is the final filtration stage of the HEPA ZONE 24 air scrubber. It captures the vast majority of fine particulates that have not been stopped by the prefilter. Specifically, it captures 99.97% of particles of size 0.3 µm or greater, such as bacteria, mold spores, soot, pollen, pet hair, pet dander, dust mites, smoke particles, allergens, and any other hazardous airborne particles.
The filter is made of a folded fiberglass sheet within a metal frame. When the HEPA filter is saturated by captured particles, the air scrubber motor must work harder to push air through the filter. This can lead to dangerous overheating. Therefore, preemptively replacing the HEPA filter helps extend the air scrubber service life. The manufacturer recommends replacing the HEPA filter every 9000 hours of use or after 18 months, whichever comes first.
This filter may also be used with air scrubbers other than the HEPA ZONE 24 work enclosure, if they are compatible with the filter format.
Reliable, efficient and compliant with standards, the ZONE 24 HEPA filter is the essential ally for optimum air purification in high-risk contamination areas.
In short, this is a high-efficiency filter designed for sensitive environments such as asbestos removal sites or decontamination areas.
The filter should be checked regularly, but never cleaned, as it is designed for single use only. It should be replaced every 9000 hours of use or every 18 months, whichever comes first, to ensure effective filtration. When removing it, it is essential to handle it with care, wearing gloves and a mask, then dispose of it in accordance with local regulations on contaminated waste, placing it in a sealed bag. This type of filter is neither washable nor reusable, and any attempt to clean it could render it ineffective or release hazardous particles.
