HEPA filter ZONE 24 - Maximum protection for your sensitive environments.

Final stage HEPA filter for the air scrubber of the HEPA ZONE 24 portable work enclosure (SAH12) or any other air scrubber that requires a 24" x 12" x 3" HEPA filter. Sold individually.

No returns or exchanges.

This filter is the final filtration stage of the HEPA ZONE 24 air scrubber. It captures the vast majority of fine particulates that have not been stopped by the prefilter. Specifically, it captures 99.97% of particles of size 0.3 µm or greater, such as bacteria, mold spores, soot, pollen, pet hair, pet dander, dust mites, smoke particles, allergens, and any other hazardous airborne particles.

The filter is made of a folded fiberglass sheet within a metal frame. When the HEPA filter is saturated by captured particles, the air scrubber motor must work harder to push air through the filter. This can lead to dangerous overheating. Therefore, preemptively replacing the HEPA filter helps extend the air scrubber service life. The manufacturer recommends replacing the HEPA filter every 9000 hours of use or after 18 months, whichever comes first.

This filter may also be used with air scrubbers other than the HEPA ZONE 24 work enclosure, if they are compatible with the filter format.

Reliable, efficient and compliant with standards, the ZONE 24 HEPA filter is the essential ally for optimum air purification in high-risk contamination areas.

Other highlights of the containment filter:

  • Dimensions: 24" x 12" x 3"
  • Made of fiberglass in a metal frame
  • Replaceable every 9000 hours or 18 months
  • Non-returnable once used
  • Compatible with other air purifiers of the same size

In short, this is a high-efficiency filter designed for sensitive environments such as asbestos removal sites or decontamination areas.

To use the ZONE 24 HEPA filter effectively, follow these key steps:

  1. Installation in a containment enclosure: This filter is designed to be inserted into an air purification system or containment enclosure, often used in asbestos removal or decontamination work. It must be placed in the compartment provided, with the seal tight to prevent any leakage of unfiltered air.
  2. Respect airflow direction: The filter has an installation direction (often indicated by an arrow on the frame). Air must pass through the filter in the right direction to ensure optimum filtration.
  3. Regular replacement: We recommend replacing the filter every 9,000 hours of use, or every 18 months, depending on the environment. A saturated filter loses efficiency and can even become a source of contamination.
  4. Handling with care: When replacing the filter, wear gloves and a mask, especially if the filter has been exposed to hazardous contaminants. It must not be shaken or cleaned, as this may release trapped particles.
  5. Safe disposal: Once used, the filter must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations on contaminated waste.

HEPA ZONE 24 filter maintenance:

The filter should be checked regularly, but never cleaned, as it is designed for single use only. It should be replaced every 9000 hours of use or every 18 months, whichever comes first, to ensure effective filtration. When removing it, it is essential to handle it with care, wearing gloves and a mask, then dispose of it in accordance with local regulations on contaminated waste, placing it in a sealed bag. This type of filter is neither washable nor reusable, and any attempt to clean it could render it ineffective or release hazardous particles.
