The Tyvek® hood is splashing proof. Seams surged to seal in the air flow. One size fit all combine ease and comfort. This hood is disposable and is equipped with a preassembled and integrated head harness for a ready-to-use product. The textile part is made of Tyvek®, that is, a light and abrasion resistant material. The lens low curvature offers an excellent field of vision and reduces annoying reflections and glare. The clear lens consists of 15 mil co-polyester (PETG). The lens doesn’t generate distortion. The size: 6 X 12 inches. (15.2 X 30.4 cm). 

This piece of equipment gets its NIOSH homologation when assembled with the other components recognized by the manufacturer Allegro as part of a complete system. It offers protection to up to 1000 times the permissive exposure limits to contaminants. It is essential to check the associated level of risk when using it. The manufacturer has designed its products for environments with contaminant concentrations that don’t exceed the limit causing immediate death if the pump stops working. This type of equipment offers a protection up to 1000 times the permissible exposure limit set by the CNESST or any other government regulation applicable.

Maintenance the Allegro no 9910 set

Please note that the textile part of the hood is disposable, thus no maintenance is required. The convenient disposable design is perfect where respirator cleaning or decontamination is difficult, just remove the down tube and clamp before disposal.
