Designed for women who want both safety and comfort, this high-visibility orange long-sleeve Pioneer 6968 safety shirt is much more than a simple garment: it is real armour against the sun. Made of birdseye polyester, a lightweight moisture-wicking fabric that keeps you cool, it offers UV protection UPF 50+ (blocks more than 98% of harmful rays). Compliant with the CSA Z96-22 standard, class 2 level 2 and the American ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 class 2, type P and R standard. Made by Pioneer (manufacturer code V1052850, model 6968), available in sizes from XS to 4XL (drop-down menu). Also available in a fluorescent yellow version (V6969F).
This shirt is made of birdseye polyester, light, soft and breathable, wicking moisture to keep the worker cool. Its women's fitted cut comes with a ribbed crew neck and thumb holes at the cuffs, which keep the sleeves in place and protect the back of the hands. A hook-and-loop chest pocket holds small items.
The fabric provides UPF 50+ protection against harmful UV rays, blocking more than 98% of the sun's UV: ideal for extended outdoor work. The shirt features StarTech retroreflective stripes on the body and sleeves, making the worker visible day and night under headlights and lighting.
Fluorescent orange is highly visible in daylight and under strong artificial lighting, with high contrast against most backgrounds; it is less visible at night and in low light (dawn, dusk). The silver retroreflective stripes return light toward its source (flashlight, headlights) and offer maximum safety at dawn, dusk and night. Class 2 level 2 targets women workers in low-to-moderate-risk areas; type R (Roadway) covers road-traffic exposure and type P (Public Safety) covers first responders.
Application: outdoor work requiring visibility and sun protection (traffic, worksites, airports, school patrols), especially on sunny days thanks to the UV protection. Restriction: this shirt does not protect against flames or electric arcs; contaminated or dirty retroreflective material offers reduced visibility. Care: keep the garment clean and in good condition; replace it if torn, soiled or worn to preserve its visibility.
It complies with the Canadian CSA Z96-22 standard, class 2 level 2, and the American ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 standard, class 2, type P and R.
