The Delta Plus Americana Climber Peak T2 safety helmet is designed for workers operating at height, on structures, towers, rooftops, or any environment where lateral impacts represent a real risk. Its non-ventilated HDPE (high-density polyethylene) shell provides robust protection against impacts at the top and on the sides, while its low-profile micro brim significantly improves the upward field of vision : a concrete advantage for climbers, linemen, and structural workers. Compliant with CSA Z94.1-15 : Class E : Type 2, it also protects against electrical hazards up to 20,000 V AC. Available in 14 colors to meet worksite color codes, visibility requirements, and company identification policies.
The 4-point Nylon textile suspension, 4-anchor textile chin strap, and integrated chin guard ensure a secure fit even in tilted positions or during sudden movements. The ratchet adjustment knob allows quick and precise sizing for head circumferences from 6½ to 8, without removing gloves. The moisture-wicking polyester sweatband is removable and washable, facilitating maintenance and hygiene during intensive use. Maximum shell lifespan is 60 months from first use. Integrated lateral slots allow the attachment of compatible earmuffs for combined head and hearing protection on a single helmet.
The Type 2 Class E safety helmet is mandatory or strongly recommended in the following sectors:
Work at height: steel structure erection, framing, roofing, solar panel installation : wherever lateral impacts are likely in the event of a fall or projection.
Energy and utilities: linemen, high-voltage power line technicians, renewable energy technicians : Class E (up to 20,000 V) is required in high electrical risk environments.
Construction and civil engineering: multi-storey building sites, earthwork with lateral projection risk, public infrastructure projects.
Light industry and maintenance: equipment maintenance at height, industrial maintenance, confined space work with lateral impact risk.
Public works: roads, bridges, tunnels, underground work where lateral protection is a requirement under OHS prevention plans.
Low-profile micro brim: improves the upward field of vision : essential for working while looking above on a structure.
Polyester sweatband: moisture-wicking, removable and washable, suited for long physical work days.
Ratchet adjustment: quick and precise sizing without removing gloves, for head circumferences from 6½ to 8.
4-point Nylon suspension: evenly distributes impacts and keeps the helmet in position during sudden movements.
CSA Z94.1-15 : Class E : Type 2: full protection against impacts at the top and on the sides, and against electrical hazards up to 20,000 V AC.
Non-ventilated HDPE shell: resistant to impacts, common chemicals, and temperature variations.
4-anchor textile chin strap with chin guard: secure fit in tilted work positions or at height.
Lateral slots: compatible with earmuffs : combined head and hearing protection on a single helmet.
Maximum lifespan: 60 months from first use : replace any helmet that has sustained a severe impact, even without visible damage.
Replaceable components: sweatband and suspension sold separately to extend useful life.
Logo customization: available on order with a minimum of 24 helmets, for worksite identification.
Type 1 protects only against impacts to the top of the skull. Type 2, like the Peak T2, protects against impacts at the top and on the sides : the minimum requirement for work at height, environments with lateral falling object risks, and worksites subject to the strictest OHS regulations.
Yes. The Peak T2 complies with CSA Z94.1-15 Class E, providing protection against electrical hazards up to 20,000 V AC. It is suited for environments with high electrical risks such as power transmission lines, electrical substations, and worksites near high-voltage lines.
Yes. The Peak T2 shell features integrated lateral mounting slots that allow the attachment of compatible earmuffs for combined head and hearing protection on a single helmet : without having to wear two separate pieces of equipment.
Start by attaching the chin strap first, before installing the helmet suspension. The longer parts of the chin strap should be oriented toward the back of the head. Once all four anchor points of the chin strap are securely in place, then install the helmet suspension. Following this order avoids having to remove the suspension later just to properly attach the chin strap.
You need complementary safety equipment for the Peak T2: the liner (V301) for cold weather work, the tape (TA5) to improve worksite visibility, the clip (TA3) to keep a pencil at hand, the Omega (TA14OR) type 2 helmet and the Indep. (TA14LR) type 1 helmet from Delta Plus as proven alternatives.
Under "Accessories" at the bottom of the page. Looking for replacement parts or accessories for your helmet: the chin (TA14CS) from Delta Plus for secure fit, the suspension (TA14RS) 4-point ratchet replacement, and the sweatband (TA14B) replacement to maintain comfort and hygiene.
