Winter poly/cotton FR under-helmet liner with mouthpiece for construction helmets
Insulated liner worn under a construction or safety helmet, with a mouthpiece covering the lower part of the face. Made on the outside from poly-cotton (polyester and cotton blend) and on the inside from brushed cotton treated fire-retardant (FR). Blue in color, it fits most head sizes and shapes. Sold individually. Wasip manufacturer's code: 320080.
It keeps the head warm, reduces noise, prevents scalp irritation and helps prevent chilblains. We also offer the long-neck version (V321).

Cold and fire protection of the under-helmet liner
The winter liner's lining is fire-retardant treated (FR) and offers superior comfort in extremely cold weather. The "Flame Resistant" treatment penetrates the fiber and coats the entire fabric, which retains this property for the life of the garment. It offers good protection against molten metal splashes and cold, making it an excellent choice to stay warm and safe in cold working conditions.
Workplace application of the under-helmet
This liner is ideal for workers exposed to extreme temperatures, such as construction workers during the Canadian winter. Its mouthpiece protects the lower face from cold and wind while remaining comfortable under the helmet.

Restriction: this liner is not totally fireproof. Made from poly/cotton and treated cotton, these materials are fire and water-resistant, but not incombustible. It may protect from superficial burns but cannot guarantee total safety in the event of fire or prolonged heat exposure.
