This ParaActiv Pro™ winter cut-resistant glove uses engineered ParaActiv™ yarn for 360° cut protection, a warm acrylic lining and a PVC coating on the palm. It is designed for cold work that requires cut resistance, stable grip and the ability to use a touchscreen without removing the glove.
The Superior product code is SCXTAPVC. This model is offered from small to double extra large, S to 2XL, according to the Sylprotec item combinations. Please select the required size in the field above before adding it to the cart. The supplier item page lists the unit of measure as pair.
According to the item features, this glove provides ANSI A5 cut resistance, ANSI 4 abrasion resistance and ANSI 3 puncture resistance. The engineered ParaActiv™ yarn provides 360° cut resistance, useful for workstations where sharp edges, cold handling or metal parts can expose the hand to combined hazards.
The 13-gauge knit keeps a good balance of strength, flexibility and comfort. The glove remains practical for handling, inspection and tool use in cold environments.
The PVC coating covers the palm and fingers to improve grip on dry or wet surfaces. Its texture helps secure the grip when objects are cold, smooth or difficult to hold with an uncoated textile glove.
This glove is touchscreen compatible, making it easier to use scanners, phones, tablets or work interfaces without removing hand protection.
The item page lists an EN511 12X rating and cold protection down to about 25°F / -4°C. The acrylic and nylon lining adds insulation without turning the glove into a bulky mitt, helping preserve better dexterity during repetitive tasks.
This model is suited for cold storage, delivery, outdoor handling, maintenance, manufacturing, material handling and tasks where cold exposure is combined with a cut hazard.
It fits naturally within the cut-resistant gloves selection when the job requires an A5 winter glove with a PVC-coated palm.
This glove cannot completely eliminate the risk of cuts or punctures. It is not designed for immersion in liquids, specialized chemical protection, high heat, flames or electrical work. Although the PVC coating improves grip on wet surfaces, choose a specialized glove when the main hazard is chemical, thermal or electrical.
To help extend glove life, wash it in cold water, 85°F / 30°C, with a mild detergent. Rinse in cold water before drying, then dry at low temperature. Never use bleach on this glove.
Inspect the coated palm, fingers, seams, knit and lining before each reuse. Replace the glove if the coating is cracked, if the knit is cut, if the lining deteriorates or if the protection no longer matches the real workplace hazard.
The item page lists ANSI A5 cut resistance with 360° protection.

This model uses a PVC coating over the palm and fingers, giving a robust grip on dry or wet surfaces. A nitrile foam winter glove may provide a different feel and grip depending on the task.
