When the mask is properly fitted and the qualitative seal test is successful, this respirator meets the standards of ANSI Z92.2-1992, with a protection factor of 10. Therefore, the worker may be exposed to a concentration of certain airborne contaminants up to a maximum of 10 times the established exposure limit.
