This sleeve is also approved for food handling by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

VSLSXB18MC peculiarities:
This high-tenacity composite sleeve features a tubular knit layer which provides quite a strong resistance to cuts and abrasion. In the event of a glitch, its blue color allows for easy spotting. This sleeve also features an attachment clip at the bicep for stay-in-place comfort and protection. The sleeve has also undergone an Ultra-Fresh® treatment that prevents and impedes bacterial growth, which makes this glove ideal for the food industry.

Use for:
This sleeve is recommended for worker in the agri-food industry and more specifically those dealing with meat processing. The manufacturer also recommends it to worker in butcher shop, grocery shop and restaurants since it provides protection from knives and other slicing tools. It may also be used in food processing plants, canning plants and slaughter houses.

Do not use for:
The composite fiber used for this glove is not heat resistant. Of course, this sleeve offers no sure protection against cuts, wear, tear and puncture so mechanical risks should not be overlooked.

Maintenance and service life:
It is recommended to carry out a basic maintenance to extend the service life of your sleeves. Simply wash them with cold water, that is, 85°F/30°C, and a mild detergent. You can then dry them at low temperature in a dryer. Never use bleach on this sleeve.
