The retroreflective bands feature fluorescent yellow edges that are 25 mm (1 inch) wide, for better contrast. The front of the vest closes with a vertical Velcro strip.

Reflective Bands and Visibility:
Fluorescent orange is highly visible during the day and in conditions with a lot of artificial light. In most situations, it also offers high contrast against the background. However, fluorescent orange is less visible at night and in low natural or artificial light conditions, such as at dawn or dusk.

The silver retroreflective:
Bands are highly visible in low natural or artificial light conditions because they reflect light back to the source of the beam (flashlight, car headlights, etc.). They thus offer the most safety at dawn, dusk, and night. However, they do not increase visibility during the day.

CSA Z96-15 Class 2 Level 2:
High-visibility safety apparel for workers performing their duties near road traffic where the maximum speed is 80 km/h. This class is intended for workers operating in LOW or MODERATE RISK areas, requiring higher visibility in poor weather conditions or low light to ensure they are seen in low-risk traffic environments.

Note: The Velcro bands might catch on clothes, scarves, or other accessories. For this reason, we do not recommend this vest if it needs to be worn over delicate clothing.
