Pioneer women's yellow safety vest 9 pockets, CSA Z96-22 class 2
Specially cut for women, this high-visibility yellow Pioneer safety vest combines visibility, comfort and storage. Made of 100% knit polyester with overlock seams, and featuring a defined waist and flared bottom, it fits the female figure while staying slightly opaque for privacy and breathability. Compliant with the CSA Z96-22 standard, class 2 level 2 and the American ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 class 2, type P and R standard, it delivers excellent low-light visibility. Made by Pioneer (manufacturer code V1021860, model 139), available in sizes from XS to 3XL (drop-down menu). Also available for women in orange (V136F), black (V139FN) and pink (V139FRO).
Women's fit in knit polyester with overlock seams
The vest is made of 100% yellow high-visibility knit polyester, lightweight and breathable for all-day comfort. Its overlock seams provide good wear resistance, and its women's cut (defined waist, flared bottom) ensures a flattering fit. Ideal for school crossing guards, airport baggage handlers and many other roles. It closes with a single plastic zipper at the front.
Nine practical pockets including ID pocket and radio clip
The vest has 9 pockets designed for the field: an ID pocket with pen holder, a phone pocket, inner pockets, plus a strap and clip for a two-way radio. Plenty of room for all essentials while keeping your hands free.
High-visibility classification CSA Z96-22 class 2 and ANSI 107-2020 type P and R
The vest features a 50 mm (2 in) StarTech retroreflective tape alternating with fluorescent yellow stripes: 2 vertical stripes in front, 2 stripes crossing in an X on the back and one horizontal stripe at the waist. Fluorescent yellow (lime green) is highly visible in daylight and in low natural light (dawn, dusk); being paler than orange, it stays visible at night without matching the reflective stripes. The silver-grey retroreflective stripes return light toward its source (flashlight, headlights) and offer maximum safety at dawn, dusk and night. Class 2 level 2 targets women workers in low-to-moderate-risk areas; type R (Roadway) covers road-traffic exposure and type P (Public Safety) covers first responders.
Application, restriction and care of the women's safety vest
Application: any role where the worker must be spotted early by drivers (traffic, worksites, airports, school patrols). Restriction: this vest does not protect against flames or electric arcs. Care: empty pockets and close all fasteners before washing, turn the garment inside out, wash in warm water (max 40°C / 104°F) with like colors and a mild liquid detergent (pH 10 or less), without overloading the machine.
