This Dexterity® cut-resistant glove made with Dyneema® knit is designed for work where hand protection still has to leave excellent fingertip feel. Its three open fingers help with small parts, tools, screws, keyboards and fine components, while the polyurethane coating improves grip on dry or slightly slippery surfaces. It is a useful choice when dexterity is the priority, with the important limitation that the open fingertips do not replace a fully closed glove when the cut hazard is directly at the fingertips.
The Superior product code is SSXPU3OF. This glove is sold by the pair and is available from extra small (6) to extra large (10). Please select the required size in the field above before adding it to the cart.
According to the ASTM and ANSI ratings shown for this item, this model provides A2 cut resistance and level 3 puncture resistance. The Dyneema® knit helps keep the glove light and flexible, while the grey polyurethane coating helps maintain controlled grip during precision work.
The three open-finger design is especially useful when the worker has to feel small parts, operate controls, handle fasteners or keep fine movement. This design improves precision, but it leaves the fingertips exposed, so it should be used only where that limitation fits the actual job hazard.
This glove is recommended for general construction, carpentry and woodworking, heavy equipment operation, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning maintenance, plumbing, automotive work, metalworking, metal fabrication, small-parts assembly, electronics, pulp and paper operations and plastic production.
It fits naturally within the cut-resistant gloves category when the job requires a balance between protection, grip and direct tactile feel.
The Dyneema® knit helps keep the glove light and supple. The polyurethane coating on the grip area adds a tacky surface without making the glove bulky, which is useful for holding smooth parts, components, hand tools or thin materials. The white and grey colour gives a clean professional look while making contamination easier to notice during inspection.
To help extend service life, perform basic care. The original text recommends washing in cold water, 85°F / 30°C, with a mild detergent, followed by a cold-water rinse. The glove may then be tumble dried at low temperature. Do not use bleach on this glove.
Always inspect the knit, coating, seams and finger openings before reuse. Replace the glove if the coating is worn, if the knit is cut or if the protection no longer properly covers the hand.
This glove does not protect the open fingertips. It is not designed for immersion in liquids, chemical protection, high heat, flame exposure or severe cut hazards that require a higher protection level. Like any protective glove, it reduces certain risks without eliminating them completely; the model must always match the real hazard at the workstation.
They help maintain better tactile feel for small parts, screws, fasteners, controls and precision tools.
The item page lists ASTM/ANSI A2 cut resistance and level 3 puncture resistance.
