This 21-gauge TenActiv™ cut-resistant glove is designed to provide ANSI A9 protection in an ultra-thin format that keeps a very close-to-bare-hand feel. It can be worn alone for precision tasks or used as a liner under another glove when the workstation requires additional cut protection. Its uncoated design maximizes thinness, breathability and freedom of movement, making it useful when dexterity is just as important as cut resistance.
The Superior product code is S21TX. This glove is sold by the pair and is available from double extra small (5) to double extra large (11). Please select the required size in the field above before adding it to the cart.
According to the ratings shown on the item page, this model provides ANSI A9 cut resistance. The TenActiv™ composite knit provides 360° cut resistance, helping protect the hand all around the glove. Because it is uncoated, it keeps excellent flexibility and can be worn under other work gloves when the user wants to add a cut-resistant layer without too much extra bulk.
This glove is FDA compliant for safe food handling according to the original item text. It is also touchscreen compatible, latex-free and silicone-free, making it practical for moving from precision work to a device or inspection without removing the glove.
The main advantage of this model is versatility: it can be used alone for dry handling tasks that require high sensitivity, or as a liner under a disposable glove, reusable glove or more robust work glove when the cut hazard has to be better controlled. This approach is useful where the worker wants to add A9 protection without losing too much tactile feel.
This glove is recommended for food processing, general labour, material handling, construction, metal fabrication, pharmaceutical manufacturing, utilities and other tasks where the hand must remain agile while protected against cuts.
It fits naturally within the cut-resistant gloves selection when the job requires an ultra-thin, touchscreen-compatible A9 glove that can also be used as a liner.
This glove cannot completely eliminate the risk of lacerations. Because it is uncoated, it is not intended to provide enhanced grip on oily surfaces, liquid protection, chemical protection or a barrier against high heat. For those hazards, choose a specialized glove or wear this model as a liner under a suitable outer glove.
To help extend glove life, wash it in cold water, 85°F / 30°C, with a mild detergent. Rinse it in cold water before drying, then dry at low temperature. Never use bleach on this glove.
Inspect the knit, areas between the fingers, palm and cuffs before each reuse. Replace the glove if stitches are cut, if the glove is deformed or if the protection no longer matches the real work hazard.
