The 10-inch flexible ventilation duct is specifically engineered for use with the Predator 750 air scrubber from Abatement Technologies. Its 25-foot reach allows effective connection between contaminated zones and negative pressure filtration systems. Whether installed on the intake or exhaust side, this duct supports the safe movement of polluted or filtered air, making it essential for asbestos removal and mold remediation projects.
Please note that the only item we presently sell that requires this item is the PREDATOR® 750 air scrubber (SAH1). That the ventilation duct must be secured on the air inlet or outlet with a hose clamp (SAHCC10).
It is recommended to use the minimal length of ducting for your given situation since the length of the duct affects the air scrubber efficiency.
Made from translucent, flexible material, this duct combines strength with adaptability. Its 10-inch diameter fits securely onto compatible air purifiers using a hose clamp, ensuring airtight connections. The 25-foot length offers installation flexibility across complex job sites, while the clear design allows visual inspection of airflow and potential blockages.
To install, attach the duct to the intake or exhaust port of the Predator 750 air scrubber using a compatible locking clamp. If the unit lacks a direct connection, secure the duct to an inlet manifold. For optimal performance, use the shortest duct length necessary to minimize airflow resistance and maintain filtration efficiency.
Although the duct can be cleaned, it is often recommended to dispose of it after use, especially in asbestos abatement scenarios where contamination risk is high. If reuse is necessary, rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow it to dry completely. Proper maintenance helps preserve air quality and protects workers from exposure.
Use this duct only with compatible air purifiers such as the Predator 750. Ensure clamps are tightly secured to prevent air leaks. Avoid sharp bends that could restrict airflow and reduce system efficiency. Store the duct in a clean, dry location to prevent damage before deployment.
It is designed for use with the Predator 750 from Abatement Technologies or any unit with a 10-inch intake or exhaust port.
Yes, it can be connected to the exhaust side to direct clean air away from the contaminated area.
While it can be cleaned, disposal is often recommended to avoid cross-contamination risks.
