3M manufacturer code: 7100229218, model 432-50-CA
Nexcare 432-50-CA bandages protect cuts, scrapes and blisters with a transparent, waterproof film. Their diamond-shaped design forms a watertight seal around the pad, which keeps out water, dirt and germs. The film stays breathable, and its ultra-thin finish is barely noticeable on the skin. The 50-count pack brings together three sizes to cover minor wounds of different dimensions.
Keep this pack in the first-aid kit of workstations where hands are often wet.
Unlike fabric or opaque plastic bandages, the transparent film lets the skin around the pad show through. The perimeter seal is what makes the bandage waterproof: it must be smoothed down completely on clean, dry skin to do its job. The stated dimensions describe the complete bandage, adhesive border included. For deep, infected or heavily bleeding wounds, consult a health professional.
Choose the size that covers the wound with an adhesive margin all around. The package directions remain the reference for application and replacement.
Each bandage is single-use: discard it after removal, without washing or reuse. Store the remaining units in their box, away from moisture and heat, and check the expiry date. The 1825-day reference shelf life applies to the product in storage and is not a wear time.
Yes. The diamond-shaped seal around the pad makes the bandage watertight: it stays on in the bath, in the shower or in the pool as long as the border adheres well to the skin.
The pack contains 50 bandages in three sizes: 15 large at 2.5 X 1.25 in, 15 medium at 2.25 X 1.06 in and 20 small at 1.1 X 0.88 in.
The film is transparent; the absorbent pad in the centre is tan.

Yes. The manufacturer lists blisters among the intended uses, along with cuts and scrapes. Follow the package directions.
For janitors and cleaning staff who work with their hands in water and cleaning products: flannel-lined nitrile gloves (GN230FL) for washing and cleaning products, Nemesis safety eyewear (YA3298) against splashes, Peltor electronic earplugs (OAEEP100) for noisy equipment, an adjustable traffic safety vest (VV50) for areas with vehicle traffic and waterproof steel-toe boots (VC18821C) for wet floors.
To round out the supplies for minor wound care, consider hydrogen peroxide (PS209) for the uses listed on its bottle, Telfa non-adherent dressings (PS299) for larger wounds, waterproof medical adhesive tape (PS401) to secure a dressing, curved stainless steel splinter tweezers (PS723), sterile single-use splinter removers (PS727) and utility scissors (PS702) for preparing supplies.
