It features ANSI level 6 abrasion resistance and ANSI level 3 puncture resistance. The especially formulated nitrile remains ultra-soft and flexible even in cold or dry conditions. The sanded grip keeps liquids away from the surface for a secure grip in wet and oily conditions. The 11 in gloved cuffs protect the wrists and allow for easy donning. The cotton jersey lining is comfortable, sweat-wicking and conforms to the shape of the hand for a full range of motion.
Nitrile is the ultimate alternative for latex-free gloves, as it is flexible, safe, strong and comfortable. It is an elastomer synthesized by copolymerizing butadiene with acrylonitrile. Nitrile is also resistant to household products, including ammonia, fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, paints, solvents, oils, fats and hydrocarbons.
This glove is recommended for food processing, the fishing industry, metal fabrication, the oil and gas sector, and storage.
Nitrile has no specific restrictions, as it was developed to protect against mechanical, chemical and biological hazards. You just need to choose the appropriate glove thickness for the type of work: the thicker the glove, the better its mechanical and chemical resistance, but it will never be flameproof.
Washing this glove is not recommended, since it is afterward quite difficult to dry it completely.
