G901 peculiarities:
This knit glove is comfortable and ergonomic while providing an excellent grip on wet or on dry surfaces thanks to its micropored crinkle-grip PVC coating. Nylon moreover doesn’t lint and the glove itself offers a comfortable thermal insulation at an affordable price. This glove is thus an excellent cost-efficient glove for general purposes even at low temperature.
Nylon properties:
Nylon exhibits good mechanical, electrical and chemical properties. It is also highly wear-resistant, mostly to friction, it doesn’t strain the hand easily and it resist well to heat, but not to an open flame. Nylon has a little to no absorbent quality which is ideal if you want to keep your hands dry while working.
PVC properties:
PVC is a thermoplastic polymer featuring excellent mechanical and chemical properties even when heated. However, PVC has a higher polar nature which gives it inferior electrical insulating properties. The fact that the coating has micropores diminishes the thermal-conduction properties of the material which makes it an excellent insulator, but makes it also permeable.
Use for:
This glove is recommended for commercial fisheries, agriculture, construction, work in cold storage facilities and utilities.
Do not use for:
This glove offers no sure protection against frostbites, cuts, wear, tear and puncture so mechanical risks should not be overlooked. Since the glove is partially covered, it is not recommended to submerge it in liquids.
Maintenance and service life:
It is recommended to carry out a basic maintenance to extend the service life of your gloves. Simply wash them with cold water, that is, 85°F/30°C, and a mild detergent. You can then dry them at low temperature in a dryer. Never use bleach on this glove.
