According to ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) and ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards, this glove has a cut resistance of level A3, a puncture resistance of level 2 and an abrasion resistance of level 3.
This knit glove is comfortable and ergonomic while offering a reliable grip thanks to its microporous PVC finish, which provides excellent adhesion on dry and wet surfaces alike. In addition, the nylon does not lint and ensures comfortable, economical thermal insulation. In short, it is an excellent example of an all-purpose glove that stays flexible even at low temperatures.
Nylon has good mechanical, electrical and chemical properties. It resists wear very well, especially friction, does not tire the hand quickly and resists heat well, but not flame. It has low absorbency, which is ideal for keeping hands dry.
PVC is a thermoplastic polymer with very good mechanical and chemical properties, even at high temperatures. It has, however, a higher chemical polarity, which gives it poorer electrical insulation properties. Because the coating is microporous, it reduces thermal conduction: it is therefore an excellent insulator, but it is not waterproof.
This glove is recommended for commercial fishing, agriculture, construction, cold-storage warehouse work and public works.
This glove only offers limited protection against cuts, tears, punctures and cold: it cannot eliminate the risk of frostbite, injuries and lacerations. Since it is only partially coated, it is not intended to be immersed in liquids.
Basic maintenance is recommended to extend the life of your gloves. Simply wash them in cold water at 85°F/30°C with a mild detergent. You can then machine dry them at low temperature. Never use bleach on this glove.
