PVC properties for resistance to chemical products

PVC is a thermoplastic polymer featuring excellent mechanical and chemical properties even when heated. PVC shows considerable resistance to many chemical products, but is susceptible to some organic solvents. However, its higher polar nature gives it inferior electrical insulating properties.

Applications of the orange PVC glove for chemistry, agriculture and petrochemicals

This glove is recommended for chemical handling, construction work, agriculture, general maintenance, handling of oils, acids and caustics, as well as the petrochemical industry and oil refining.

Usage restrictions of the orange PVC coated glove

PVC has poor resistance to UV light and, at low temperatures, tends to harden and crack. It also has poor resistance to organic solvents and hot water, and is not recommended for use above 79 °C (175 °F).

Maintenance and service life of the cotton flannel PVC coated glove

Washing this glove is not recommended, since it is afterward quite difficult to dry it completely.
