This ExoFit X200 safety harness features dorsal, sternal and hip D-rings with automatic vertical positioning (stand-up) and anti-slip plate. The patented 3M double-locking quick-connect buckles keep the adjustment secure throughout the shift, eliminating frequent readjustments. The torso buckle is swivel and lockable. The sub-pelvic strap prevents orthostatic suspension syndrome in the event of a fall.
The 6,000 lb polyester webbing offers superior UV and chemical resistance. Zinc-plated alloy steel hardware is unpainted for easy visual inspection. Color-coded webbing simplifies donning. Available in: XS, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large.
Maximum load: 310 lb / 140.6 kg including clothing, tools and equipment. Compliant with CSA Z259.10-18 for the Canadian market. Made to order by 3M. Allow approximately 1 month lead time.
6,000 lb (27 kN) polyester webbing: superior resistance to acids and UV. Unpainted light aluminum-alloy D-rings and slides, and quick-connect leg buckles of hybrid aluminum-alloy and zinc-plated-steel construction (light weight and strength): facilitates visual inspection with advanced material engineering specific to 3M DBI-SALA harnesses. Multi-color webbing: quick identification of anchor points and adjustments. Plastic tips on webbing ends: prevent fraying over time.
Suitable for: fixed ladder climbing, telecom towers, wind turbines and pylons. Meets the requirements of Canadian Labour Code and CNESST (Quebec) regulations for work at height. Sizes available: XS, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large.
Inspect before each use: check for cuts, fraying, broken stitching and deformed hardware. Inspection by a qualified person is required at least annually. Recommended service life: 5 years with regular use. Any harness subjected to a fall must be removed from service and destroyed immediately. Sylprotec offers annual inspection by a qualified technician.
Clean with mild soap and lukewarm water (max 37 C / 98.6 F). Never use bleach, solvents or abrasive products. Air dry away from direct sunlight. Store hanging in a clean, dry location away from chemicals and heat sources.
The cross-over style uses X-shaped shoulder straps that cross at the back, distributing the load and making it easier to wear a high-visibility safety vest at the same time. The vest style uses vertical shoulder straps for faster donning. Both provide the same protection; the choice depends on comfort and whether a vest needs to be worn over the harness.
Each D-ring has a specific function and must never be used outside its intended purpose. The dorsal ring is for fall arrest, the sternal ring for guided ascent and the hip rings for positioning with a restraint lanyard. Use the ring matching the current task; hip rings are never used for fall arrest. Always consult the manufacturer's instructions and applicable regulations.
This model is made to order by 3M and is not kept in regular stock. Allow approximately 1 month from the order date. For an urgent need, contact Sylprotec: we can check availability and suggest an equivalent in-stock harness when possible.
To complete your fall protection system, add a leading-edge SRL retractable (FPLR80302-18LE) or an energy-absorbing lanyard (FPL1340125C) as your fall arrest connection. Protect the head with a Peak T2 helmet with integrated chin strap (TA222), the eyes with safety glasses (YA11514) and hearing with earplugs (OA1250). For the job, add suitable gloves (GMXVSB) and a flame-resistant garment (V1766).
