The Inspecta-Shield Plus fire retardant is a ready-to-use flame-retardant solution, sold in a 1-gallon (3.8 L) bottle. Designed for class A materials, it protects wood, carpets, tapestries, curtains, drapes, mattresses, papers and fabrics made of natural and artificial fibres. It is ideal for daycares, restaurants, clubs and any public venue.
This solution is easy to use, non-toxic, non-allergenic, colourless and odourless once dry, durable and UV-resistant. It slows or prevents flame spread but cannot prevent material charring. It can withstand several washes; however, the manufacturer recommends reapplying product to the protected material after each wash. This product holds a UL approval in the United States.
