Phase-change cooling vest, flame-resistant and dielectric (Banox FR3 fabric, ATPV 9.4 cal/cm², HRC 2 NFPA 70E). Maintains 14 °C (58 °F) near the body for 4 h using frozen thermal packs. Special order, sizes S/M and L/XL.
No returnable if used. For more information about our return policy, please refer to the Orders and Returns.
Special order only.
This phase-change (water evaporation) vest is designed for intense-heat environments. It maintains a constant temperature of 14 °C (58 °F) near the body regardless of the ambient temperature, improving worker productivity while preventing heat stress. Unique in the cooling range: it is also flame-resistant and dielectric, making it compatible with work exposed to arc flash.
The vest holds thermal packs inserted in mesh pockets near the worker's body. It is recommended to freeze the thermal packs before use: they slowly absorb heat and keep a cool temperature near the body. Repeat the pack cooling cycle as needed, and plan spare packs for long-duration work. The cycle maintains a temperature of about 14 °C (58 °F) for 4 hours (results may vary depending on the method used).
The vest is entirely made of dielectric materials (non-conductive). It is flame and arc-flash resistant thanks to Banox FR3 fabric, with an ATPV rating of 9.4 cal/cm² and HRC 2 certification per the NFPA 70E standard. It therefore suits the worker who must stay cool while being protected against arc flash.
Two sizes are available: Small/Medium (S/M) or Large/Extra Large (L/XL). Please specify your size when ordering.
This vest suits workers exposed to both intense heat and arc flash risk: electrical technicians, substation staff, foundries, heavy industry and any job requiring cooling and flame-resistant protection at once.
Remove the thermal packs before any care of the vest. Let the vest air dry and store it in a dry place. Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners. Inspect the vest and packs before each use and replace any damaged item.
About 14 °C (58 °F) near the body, for 4 hours per cycle, regardless of the ambient temperature.

Yes. Fully dielectric and flame-resistant (Banox FR3 fabric), it has an ATPV rating of 9.4 cal/cm² and HRC 2 certification per NFPA 70E.
Two sizes: Small/Medium (S/M) and Large/Extra Large (L/XL). Specify your size when ordering. Special-order product.
For long-duration work, yes: spare packs let you alternate cooling cycles without interruption.
To fight the heat from head to toe, pair this vest with the grey nylon cooling vest (VH6665G), the cooling glasses SecureFit (YASF401), the cooling earplugs (OA101) and the cooling towel (VH6602).
Under "Accessories" at the bottom of the page, add the cooling hood (VH6710CT), a bilingual first aid seal (TRS) and Cool Jel burn gel packets (PS625) and a 3M N95 respirator (R8210).
