Ergodyne baseball-style bump cap with 4 LEDs — ABS shell, certified EN 812
Ergodyne baseball-style bump cap with 4 built-in LEDs (also called an anti-bump or anti-scalp cap). Certified EN 812-2012. Color: black and navy, with silver reflective trim. It protects the head from impacts with hard or pointy objects and helps prevent scrapes, cuts and puncture wounds.
Caution: this bump cap does not offer sufficient protection against falling objects or fall-related injuries. Bump caps do not replace hard hats and may not be worn on construction sites.

4-LED lighting of the bump cap
The 80 mm (3") brim integrates 4 white light-emitting diodes (LEDs). They emit 48 lumens and illuminate up to 15 m (50 feet) ahead of the worker: no flashlight needed for inspections or work in dark spaces. The 4 included CR2032 lithium batteries provide up to 30 hours of continuous light and are easily replaced — just remove the inner shell to access the battery case.
Impact protection and comfort of the Ergodyne bump cap
A bump cap is designed to protect the head against minor impacts: knocking against hard objects, protrusions, pipes or low edges. Lightweight and comfortable, it is ideal for people working in basements, crawlspaces, machine rooms and other areas with reduced clearance, as well as for workers in the food industry, in warehouses, in garages and for inspections. The removable rigid ABS shell with foam cushioning absorbs impacts, while the mesh panels ensure good ventilation.
Maintenance and service life of the bump cap
Remove the ABS shell to wash the cap according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Regularly inspect the shell for any traces of cracking, splitting or deformation, and replace the cap if the shell is damaged or after a significant impact. Replace the CR2032 batteries when drained. Avoid prolonged exposure to heat that could deform the ABS shell.

Is this cap certified?
Yes, it is certified EN 812-2012, the European standard for bump caps. Note: a bump-cap certification does not replace a CSA-rated safety helmet; this cap may not be worn on construction sites or where there is a risk of falling objects.
How long do the batteries last?
The 4 included CR2032 lithium batteries provide up to 30 hours of continuous light. They are replaceable: remove the inner shell to access the battery case.
Can the cap be washed?
Yes: the ABS shell is removable, so the cap can be washed according to the manufacturer's recommendations, then the shell reinserted.
