Anti-shock protection of the cap shell
This insert is designed to provide lightweight protection against minor impacts: knocking against hard objects, protrusions, pipes or low edges. Slipped inside an ordinary baseball cap, it offers discreet anti-bump protection, ideal in areas with reduced clearance where the risk comes mainly from bumps rather than falling objects.
Installing the insert in a cap
The shell simply slides inside the baseball cap, wrapping around the head. It can be removed so the cap can be washed, then reinserted. This affordable solution turns an existing cap into a bump cap.
Maintenance and service life of the anti-shock shell
Remove the shell to wash the cap. Regularly inspect the shell for any traces of cracking, splitting or deformation, and replace the insert if it is damaged or after a significant impact. Avoid prolonged exposure to heat that could deform the shell.

Is this insert certified / approved?
No. The TA01 is a non-certified anti-shock shell: it offers lightweight protection but does not replace a rated safety helmet and may not be worn on construction sites or where there is a risk of falling objects.
Does it work with any cap?
Yes: the shell is designed to fit into any standard baseball cap, turning it into a lightweight bump cap.
What is the difference with the TA14BC shell?
Both are anti-shock inserts; the TA01 is the affordable white model, while the TA14BC includes a foam band for extra cushioning.
