The VV56P winter high-visibility pants (Pioneer model 6041, manufacturer code V1190860) are designed for flaggers and workers exposed to the cold who must stay fully visible near traffic. Fluorescent yellow, winter-insulated and waterproof, they combine thermal protection, water resistance and certified visibility. Worn with the matching winter coat, they form a CSA Z96-15 class 3 compliant ensemble, a reliable choice for winter roadwork with no compromise on safety. Available from size XS to 4XL.
This fluorescent yellow flagperson pant complies with the Transports Quebec standard (December 2014, Volume V - Road Signage, paragraph 4.34.1). Worn with the high-visibility coat with reflective bands, the ensemble complies with the CSA Z96-15 class 3 standard. It also meets the ANSI/ISEA 107-15 standard, category E, supplemental types. This combination of certifications ensures regulatory visibility for work near moving vehicles.
The VV56P features silver StarTech retroreflective bands alternated with fluorescent orange bands, each 50 mm (2 inches) wide, arranged in three horizontal bands around the ankles. Fluorescent yellow (safety yellow-green) is highly visible by day and in low natural light, such as at dawn and dusk. The silver-grey retroreflective bands return light toward its source (headlights, flashlight) and deliver maximum visibility at night and in low-light conditions.
The VV56P is made from 300 denier polyester knit with a 5 mm polyurethane coating, a fabric that is both breathable and waterproof. Its seams are glued and heat-sealed to block water infiltration. The pant is insulated against the cold with a 180 g/m² diamond-quilted polyester lining that retains heat during long winter days.
The pant has belt loops and a velcro fly. Adjustable zippered openings on the sides, near the ankles, make it easy to pull on over winter boots. For storage, it offers two velcro-closure cargo pockets on the sides, two rear flap pockets and two top pockets with a transverse inner opening.
The VV56P is ideal for road-site flaggers, as well as all workers operating near moving vehicles: construction, petrochemical industry, mining, fisheries, public works, transport and vehicle driving. Its insulated, waterproof design makes it a first choice for outdoor work in cold, wet weather.
To preserve waterproofing and the reflective bands, wash in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent, without bleach or fabric softener, and air dry away from direct heat. Replace the garment if the coating cracks or if the reflective bands are damaged.
