Keep your Versaflo system working with a replacement blower offering 6.5 and 7.2 CFM airflow settings. Compatible with the TR-300, TR-300+ and TR-300N+ series, this belt-mounted unit has a rear breathing-tube connection. With a compatible economy battery, listed runtime is approximately 6 hours depending on operating conditions. Replacement blower only, not a complete respirator; not intrinsically safe. Battery not included.
No returnable if used. For more information about our return policy, please refer to the Orders and Returns.
3M manufacturer's code: 7100153842, model TR-301N+.
This replacement blower is the motor-driven heart of a Versaflo powered air-purifying respirator, moving air through the filtration system to a compatible headtop. Two airflow settings, 6.5 CFM and 7.2 CFM, let users select an operating level in accordance with 3M instructions. Straightforward to use and versatile, it supports properly configured respiratory systems in manufacturing, metalworking and powder handling. Designed for compatibility with the Versaflo TR-300+, it replaces the turbo unit rather than providing a complete respirator kit. The battery is not included and must be ordered separately.
This blower is complemented by the TR-371+ filter cover with viewing window for filter maintenance and replacement work on the Versaflo TR-300 blower system.
The belt-mounted design carries the blower at the waist, with a rear breathing-tube connection for routing the tube toward the headtop. The 3M sheet lists case dimensions of 4.2 x 7.4 x 9.4 in. and a gross weight of 1.27 lb. Its selectable 6.5 and 7.2 CFM airflow settings provide flexibility during approved use.
Compatibility includes the Versaflo TR-300, TR-300+ and TR-300N+ series, provided the complete assembly uses a 3M-approved combination of components. A compatible economy battery delivers approximately 6 hours of runtime. Actual operating time depends on factors such as airflow setting, filter condition, battery condition and the work environment. This runtime information does not indicate that a battery is included with the blower.
This replacement motor helps manufacturing and metalworking teams maintain their powered respirator equipment. Grinding, sawing, sanding, foundry work, cement production and powder handling can all create a need for respiratory protection against particles. The appropriate complete system must be selected based on the contaminants present, exposure levels and other workplace hazards.
Respirable silica requires a careful exposure assessment; the blower by itself does not protect the wearer. Use suitable filtration, an approved headtop and compatible components within a respiratory protection program. This blower is not intrinsically safe and must not be used where intrinsic safety is required. Particulate filtration does not provide protection against gases or vapours and does not supply oxygen.
Before returning the system to service, inspect the housing, connections, breathing tube, battery and filtration components as directed by 3M. Confirm correct assembly and check airflow using the manufacturer's prescribed procedure. Replace damaged or exhausted components rather than modifying the blower.
The TR-371+ filter cover with viewing window complements the blower when servicing the filter compartment. This cover is not a filter and cannot restore the performance of a clogged filter. Follow the applicable cleaning and storage instructions, without immersing the motor or using an unauthorized cleaning method.
It is a replacement blower, also called a motor or turbo unit. Respiratory use requires an approved assembly with compatible filtration, battery, breathing tube and headtop. Do not assume these additional components are included.
It is compatible with the TR-300, TR-300+ and TR-300N+ series. Check the exact battery, filter, breathing-tube and headtop combination against 3M documentation before assembling the system.
The two airflow settings are 6.5 and 7.2 CFM. With a compatible economy battery, runtime is approximately 6 hours under the applicable operating conditions. This is not a guaranteed duration for every work shift.
This work may call for a particulate respiratory protection system, but suitability depends on the exposure assessment and the limitations of the complete assembly. The blower alone is insufficient. It is not intrinsically safe and is not suitable for oxygen-deficient atmospheres.
The TR-371+ filter cover with viewing window is a complementary replacement component for maintaining the Versaflo TR-300 filter compartment. It protects the filter in its housing but does not perform filtration itself.
A worker grinding metal or handling materials that generate silica dust needs coordinated protection for more than breathing hazards. Depending on the assessment, cut-resistant Gloves (GS13GDSTL) support material handling, while protective Eyewear (YASF407BG) addresses eye hazards. In noisy areas, consider Earmuffs (OPH10P3E) with an approved mounting option. A Helmet (TA222) and a traffic safety Vest (VV51) address additional site requirements. Confirm that all PPE can be worn together correctly; do not assume these earmuffs attach to this helmet.
When maintaining or updating a Versaflo TR-300 system, check the carrying Belt (RVTR327) and inspect the TR-371+ filter cover with viewing window, available as a replacement Cover (RVTR371). For different power requirements, consider the high-capacity Battery (RVTR332), checking expected runtime for your particular configuration. A HEPA Filter (RVTR3712N5) and single-station Charger (RVTR342N) help complete your filtration and charging plan, subject to 3M-approved component combinations.
