Facial hair or any other condition that prevents direct contact between the mask edge and the face may compromise worker safety by not providing full protection. Do not use if you suffer from a respiratory illness such as asthma or emphysema.

Do not use during sandblasting or in areas with aerosol concentrations exceeding 10 times the permissible exposure limit set by CNESST or any other applicable government regulation. This respiratory protection mask should only be used in areas without oxygen deficiency risk.

To achieve a protection factor against concentrations 50 times the exposure limit permitted by CNESST, workers must successfully pass a quantitative fit test. Currently, the manufacturer provides this service by appointment and according to its pricing.

This full-face piece is reusable provided it is maintained and stored according to guidelines. 3M recommends always inspecting the mask before use, cleaning it after use, and storing it in its packaging when not in use.
