This full-face piece from the FF-400 series is made entirely of silicone, ensuring reliable sealing and long-lasting comfort. It features a six-strap adjustable head harness for optimal fit. Its polycarbonate lens, compliant with CSA standards, acts as integrated safety goggles and provides excellent visibility. The exclusive Scotchgard coating from 3M protects against stains and makes cleaning easier. The 3M Cool Flow valve improves breathability by reducing heat and moisture buildup.
The respirator is available in several sizes:
Premium respiratory protection for demanding industrial environments.
This respirator is compatible with filters from the 2000, 2200, 5000, and 7000 series, as well as cartridges from the 6000 series and P100 combination cartridges. It contains no natural rubber latex, reducing allergy risks. Its robust and ergonomic design makes it a reliable piece of personal protective equipment for professionals in healthcare, chemical industries, and construction.
Before use, it is essential to match the filtration system with the appropriate cartridges or filters based on the type of contaminants present. The user must adjust the six straps of the head harness to ensure a perfect seal. A visual inspection is recommended to verify the integrity of the mask and ensure optimal respiratory protection.
This type of respiratory protection mask is recommended for tasks that release solid and liquid particles into the air or for work in environments where contaminants and/or biological particles are present in the air. Of course, the filtration system must be adapted with the correct filters or cartridges to ensure adequate protection. 3M recommends wearing this type of respirator when there may be chemical splashes, for sawing, masonry, laboratory work, handling or cleaning chemicals, furnace work, cutting, etc.
It is not recommended to use a respirator when facial hair is visible. Facial hair or any other condition that prevents direct contact between the mask edge and the face may compromise worker safety by not providing full protection. Do not use if you suffer from a respiratory illness such as asthma or emphysema. Do not use for sandblasting or in environments where aerosol concentrations exceed 10 times the permissible exposure limit set by CNESST or other applicable government regulations. This respirator should only be used in areas without oxygen deficiency risks. To achieve a protection factor against concentrations 50 times the permissible exposure limit set by CNESST, workers must successfully pass a quantitative fit test. Currently, this is provided by the manufacturer by appointment and according to their pricing.
This full-face piece is reusable provided that maintenance and storage follow proper guidelines. 3M recommends always inspecting the mask before use, cleaning it after use, and storing it in its packaging when not in use. During cleaning, it is important not to use solvents, as they may weaken certain mask components, affecting its effectiveness. Cartridges or filters must always be removed after use.
This mask is recommended for tasks that generate particles or chemical fumes, such as sawing, masonry, chemical cleaning, or laboratory work. It should not be used for sandblasting or in environments where contaminant concentrations exceed permissible exposure limits. It is also not recommended in oxygen-deficient areas unless the user is equipped with a supplied air system.
Yes, it is compatible with P100 combination cartridges as well as the 2000, 2200, 5000, 6000, and 7000 series.
