The GV413 AirGloves™ glove from Impacto is a mechanic-style anti-vibration glove designed to protect against abrasion and vibration. Its grain cowhide leather palm and nylon back are combined with an internal chamber of urethane air bladders, strategically placed across the palm and fingers to absorb vibrations and dissipate their effects. It reduces fatigue and micro-injuries to the hands, wrists, arms and shoulders, while staying comfortable thanks to its adjustable wrist tab. Sold in pairs.

This product is certified anti-vibration according to the European standard ISO 10819:1996 and the American standard ANSI S2.73-2002 (R2007). Its EN388 2222 mechanical rating breaks down as follows: abrasion resistance 2/4, cut resistance 2/5, tear resistance 2/4 and puncture resistance 2/4.
This mechanic-style anti-vibration glove has a white grain leather palm and a black nylon back. The anti-vibration film, made of urethane air bladders, is strategically located across the palm and fingers to better absorb vibrations and dissipate their effects, reducing fatigue and micro-injuries to the hands, wrists, arms and shoulders. A Velcro® strap at the wrist ensures a better fit and keeps the glove in place.
Full-grain leather comes from splitting thick hides into two layers: one containing the grain (called “leather”) and the other made of the flesh (called “split” or “split leather”). Cowhide is arguably the most popular, as it offers the best balance of durability, dexterity, abrasion resistance and comfort, while remaining relatively economical.
Nylon has good mechanical, electrical and chemical properties. It resists wear very well, especially friction, does not tire the hand quickly and resists heat well, but not flame. It has low absorbency, which is ideal for keeping hands dry.
Urethane has excellent chemical and mechanical properties. It is highly elastic, does not deform and resists abrasion, cuts and tears. It resists a wide range of chemicals, UV rays and liquids thanks to its non-absorbent nature, making it the ideal material for anti-vibration air cells.
This glove is recommended for workers who use tools such as hammers, chipping hammers, needle guns, sanders, jackhammers, riveting tools, chainsaws and grinders. It protects against abrasion, impacts and vibrations, making it an ideal candidate for handling hand or power tools.
This glove only offers limited protection against cuts, tears and punctures: it cannot eliminate the risk of injuries and lacerations. Furthermore, while it helps absorb and dissipate vibrations, it cannot eliminate all risk of developing Raynaud’s syndrome (white finger disease), a blood circulation disorder.
It is not recommended to wash this glove, as soap and water remove the leather’s natural oils, which makes it stiff and brittle. If the nature of your work requires washing your gloves, we recommend dry cleaning only.
It is certified anti-vibration according to the European standard ISO 10819:1996 and the American standard ANSI S2.73-2002 (R2007), with an EN388 rating of 2222.

No. It absorbs and dissipates vibrations, but cannot eliminate all risk of developing Raynaud’s syndrome (white finger).
Washing with soap and water is not recommended as it stiffens the leather. If cleaning is necessary, choose dry cleaning only.
To complete your anti-vibration protection, see the AirGloves gloves in synthetic suede with silicone dots (GV408), the BlackMaxx glove with chloroprene pods (GV473), and the half-finger Vibrastop gloves in goatskin (GVIBGHFV). For wrist protection, the Impacto carpal tunnel support (GVTS226) provides targeted relief.
