TenActiv™ nitrile foam-coated glove with maximum impact protection and A5 cut resistance
The GSTXFNVB is a high-performance 13-gauge work glove, grey and black, that combines 360° ASTM/ANSI A5 cut resistance with maximum level 3 impact protection per ANSI — one of the highest anti-impact levels in the world. Its TenActiv™ fiber knit stays flexible and cool against the skin, while its nitrile foam coating makes it easier to grip slippery or lightly oiled objects. Ideal for labor, construction, material handling and heavy industries, it delivers durability and comfort without sacrificing dexterity. Made in Honduras.
This model is available in sizes ranging from extra small (6) to double extra large (11). Please select your size in the box above.
Superior Product Code: STXFNVB
According to ANSI standards, this glove has an impact resistance of level 3, a cut resistance of level A5, an abrasion resistance of level 5 and a puncture resistance of level 4.
This glove protects your hands with level 3 impact resistance on the back of the hand, while the TenActiv™ knit provides 360° cut resistance. It resists abrasion and punctures without compromising flexibility, and its fiber stays cool against the skin for added comfort. Gripping slippery or lightly oiled objects is made easier by the nitrile foam coating.
TenActiv™ fiber is a trademark of Superior Glove. Its exact composition remains a well-kept secret of the manufacturer; it is similar to what is known as Dyneema™, also a trademark belonging to another manufacturer. This high-tenacity fiber is the source of the glove’s excellent balance of cut protection, lightness and dexterity.
This glove is recommended for labor work, construction, processing industries, assembly lines, industries that handle metals, material handling, the pulp and paper industry, warehouse work and the general public.
The composite fiber of this glove is not very heat resistant and the nitrile foam has a low flame resistance. This glove cannot entirely eliminate the risk of injuries and lacerations. The nitrile foam is porous, therefore permeable to liquids; furthermore, since the glove is only partially coated, it does not protect against liquids reaching the back of the hand.
It offers level 3 impact protection per ANSI on the back of the hand, one of the highest anti-impact levels available.
It offers 360° ASTM/ANSI A5 cut resistance, along with level 5 abrasion and level 4 puncture resistance.
Yes. The nitrile foam coating makes it easier to grip slippery or lightly oiled objects while maintaining good tactile sensitivity.
It is available from extra small (6) to double extra large (11), to suit most workers.
No. The composite fiber has poor heat resistance and the nitrile foam is porous (permeable to liquids) with low flame resistance; this glove is not intended for those uses.
To complete your cut protection equipment, see the Superior Touch Dyneema A5 glove with nitrile foam coating (GS13FGFNT), the A9 knit glove with nitrile foam coating (GS21TXUFN), and the A2 composite glove with polyurethane coating (GS13TAGPU) for more tactile tasks. For food handling, choose the A7 Sure Knit food glove (GS13SXB).
Under “Accessories” at the bottom of the page, complete your equipment with the A9 stainless steel chain-mesh glove (G100), the Dexterity NT cotton glove with nitrile coating (GS15NT), and protect your forearms with the level 2 Cutban sleeve (VSKPW14TH) or the level 3 Kevlar sleeve (VS21).
