Application:
To use the tick removal kit, follow these simple steps:
1. Preparation:
- Wash your hands and put on the nitrile gloves supplied in the kit.o Make sure you have all the tools at hand: tick forceps with magnifying glass, antiseptic swabs, adhesive dressings, and ziploc bag.
2. Removing the tick :
- Use the tick forceps to grasp the tick as close to the skin as possible, without crushing its abdomen.
- Pull gently but firmly upwards, without twisting or shaking, until the tick comes off.
3. After removal :
- Place the tick in the ziploc bag for analysis.o Clean the bite area with an antiseptic swab to disinfect. Apply an adhesive bandage to the area to protect it.
4. Monitoring:
- Note the date and location of the bite.
- Watch the area for a few days for any signs of infection or redness. If you notice any unusual symptoms, consult a doctor.
By following these steps, you can safely remove ticks and minimize the risk of infection.
Maintenance and service life:
As with any medical product, check the expiration date regularly and do not use it if it has passed.
