The Teleshower wastewater filtration pump is specifically designed to operate with the Teleshower S5000ET decontamination shower. It filters wastewater containing asbestos fibers and other toxic particles, thereby reducing the risk of environmental contamination. With its 0.1 hp motor and flow rate of 23 liters per minute, it ensures fast and safe evacuation of contaminated water. This system is indispensable for any asbestos removal site that complies with safety standards.
Warning; please open the filter reservoirs to remove the packaging before operating the pump.
The Teleshower pump operates on a 110 V, 60 Hz circuit and requires two garden hoses with ¾ in female NPT fittings for a water inlet and outlet. It is equipped with a primary 25-micron filter and a secondary 5-micron filter, providing two-stage filtration. The system is delivered without a power cord, allowing adaptation to the specific needs of the worksite. It is essential to introduce water into the pump before activating it and never operate it dry. Used filters must be handled with care, as they contain hazardous waste.
Installing the Teleshower pump is intuitive and can be done quickly in the field. Simply connect the inlet and outlet hoses, connect the system to a suitable power source, and ensure the filters are properly inserted after removing their packaging. The instruction manual should be consulted before startup to ensure safe use in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
To maintain optimal performance, it is recommended to regularly check the condition of the filters and replace them as soon as they are saturated. Cleaning the filter reservoirs must be done with appropriate personal protective equipment due to the potential presence of asbestos fibers. It is also advisable to monitor the fittings and metal components to prevent galvanic corrosion.
Before using the Teleshower pump, it is essential to ensure that water has been introduced into the system. Never operate the pump dry. Use electrical extensions that comply with the manufacturer’s recommendations based on the distance between the pump and the power source. Wear protective equipment when handling used filters, which are considered hazardous waste. Integrate the pump into a comprehensive wastewater management protocol on asbestos removal sites.
It filters particles of 25 microns and larger with the primary filter, and particles of 5 microns and larger with the secondary filter, ensuring effective filtration of wastewater contaminated by asbestos.
It is designed to operate with the Teleshower S5000ET shower, ensuring optimal compatibility and safe filtration.
