The portable Teleshower is specifically designed for work environments where employees are exposed to hazardous substances such as asbestos. Made of aluminum, it combines lightness and strength, making it easy to transport and install on decontamination sites. It allows for a full-body rinse, reducing the risk of cross-contamination and ensuring a safe exit from the worksite. This model is particularly suited for high-risk asbestos removal operations, where immediate decontamination is essential.
Additionally, you will need a filtration pump for wastewater: see item (SAH6P).
The Teleshower measures 34 X 30 X 83 inches when deployed and only 34 X 30 X 51 inches when folded, making it easy to store and transport. It is equipped with a 20-mil thick PVC curtain, hooks for hanging clothes, separate hot and cold water faucets, and a fixed shower head. The tilting floor allows easy access to the 100-micron drainage filter. Two molded handles make handling easier. Note that the filtration pump is not included and must be purchased separately.
Quick and intuitive installation on asbestos removal sites:
Installing the portable Teleshower requires only two people and can be completed in a few minutes. Simply connect two garden hoses for hot and cold water, attach the curtain, and connect the drainage system to the filtration pump. Thanks to its modular design, this shower can be installed in close proximity to work areas, ensuring fast and effective decontamination.
To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to regularly clean the PVC curtain with a suitable disinfectant, check the condition of the faucets, and replace the drainage filter according to usage frequency. The tilting floor makes access to the filter simple and quick. Proper maintenance extends the life of the shower and ensures effective decontamination with each use.
Workers must enter with their equipment. It is preferable to change the orientation of the HEPA filter to prevent it from being directly under the water jet. Activate the water jet, remove rubber boots and coveralls. Respiratory equipment must function for as long as possible. Respiratory equipment and the body must be showered before the respiratory device is turned off. Decontamination should last between three and five minutes, with particular attention paid to exposed areas. It is advisable to provide a separate shower for women if necessary. The use of the Teleshower must be part of an overall safety protocol that includes wastewater filtration and equipment monitoring.
