This type of bag is ideal to double bag the yellow regulatory bag for asbestos. These bags allow one to reach the new regulation of 6 mils thickness when it comes to asbestos-containing wastes. These bags allow the safe handling and transportation of hazardous materials such as asbestos to the landfill without any spills or contamination.

In general, the yellow bags are vacuumed with HEPA vacuum inside the decontamination area before getting their second bag. That type of bag is used for all levels of risk since asbestos is hazardous even in small quantities. Please note that there must be a decontamination area when work is executed in an environment with an elevated risk factor.
