For heavy-duty work boots or large insulated boots, we recommend choosing more robust models such as VGET-XL or VGICE-XL.
Avoid using solvents, which could damage the rubber. Occasional cleaning with warm water and mild soap is sufficient.
After use, it is important to dry the crampons thoroughly, as steel rusts easily if left damp.
Lifespan depends on intensity of use and surfaces walked on. At this price point, these crampons are often replaced due to loss or forgetfulness rather than actual wear and tear, which explains the absence of replaceable crampons.
Zenith® crampons are designed for users looking for a simple and economical solution to walk safely on snow and ice. They are particularly suitable for companies that need to equip a large number of employees each winter, as well as individuals for occasional use.
Unlike more technical models, Zenith® crampons focus on simplicity and low cost. They offer good traction on snow and ice, but do not feature advanced technologies, replaceable spikes, or premium materials. Their purpose is to provide effective basic protection at a modest price.
They are designed for flat-heeled boots and shoes. For very bulky, heavily insulated, or very large work boots, we recommend choosing a more robust model such as the VGET-XL or VGICE-XL.
This model was designed as an economical product. Replacing the studs would increase the cost without any real benefit for the intended use. In practice, these soles are often replaced after several seasons or if lost, rather than when the studs are completely worn out.
The lifespan depends on how often they are used and the type of surface they are used on. With normal seasonal use, they perform satisfactorily throughout the winter. Drying them thoroughly after use helps to limit corrosion and extend their service life.
