Set of ultra-strong nylon Metstraps for Impacto Metguard removable metatarsal guards (see VCMET). Universal size, 4 straps/pack.
Metstraps allow Metguard metatarsal guards to be attached to laceless boots, such as rubber boots. Made of ultra-strong nylon, they meet the same impact-resistance requirements as the guards (minimum 75 lb impact) and install in seconds. A simple solution to add metatarsal protection where laces are missing.
Ultra-strong nylon for laceless boots
Made of ultra-strong nylon, Metstraps are designed for laceless boots (rubber boots). They tighten around the boot and tie into the built-in slots of the metatarsal guard for a firm hold.
ASTM compliance and 75 lb impact resistance
Metstraps meet the same requirements of ASTM F2412-11 and ASTM F2413-11 as the Metguard metatarsal guards, namely resistance to a minimum 75 lb impact.
Simple installation of the Metstraps
Simply use two straps per shoe: place one strap around the heel and one under the shoe, then tie them into the guard's slots. The set contains 4 straps, enough to equip a pair of boots.
Restriction and use of the VCMETS straps
Warning: the VCMET metatarsal guard is not included with this item; the straps only serve to attach an already-owned Metguard guard to laceless boots.
