The 130 V T10 bulb (LA130G) is an incandescent large-base bulb designed as a replacement part for older models of emergency lighting units and signs. On this vintage equipment, the original bulbs have become rare: the LA130G lets you put the device back in service without having to replace it entirely. It is a practical way to extend the life of older backup lighting while keeping the safety function operational.
The T10 format and 130-volt rating match the specifications of these older devices, and the large base fits their socket. Keeping the right bulb avoids risky adaptations on older equipment. When a device truly reaches the end of its life, moving to more modern, energy-efficient LED lighting is still recommended.
Beyond a simple swap, this bulb keeps older equipment in service without replacing everything.
The LA130G matches older emergency lighting models, whose original bulbs are hard to find, extending the useful life of existing equipment.
The T10 format and large base reproduce the original specifications, for a direct replacement in the socket with no adaptation.
Replacing bulbs in older emergency lighting is required everywhere this equipment remains in service:
Replacement involves removing the worn bulb from the device and fitting the new 130 V T10 bulb into the same large-base socket, with the device de-energized. After fitting, an emergency-mode test confirms the device lights up correctly. If the device is in poor overall condition, consider replacing it with modern LED lighting.
The LA130G is designed for older models of emergency lighting units and signs, with a large base. Check the socket format and original voltage for another model.
The small (LA130P), medium (LA130M) or large (LA130G) base depends on your device's socket. Check the format before ordering.
If the device is at the end of its life, moving to more modern, energy-efficient LED lighting is generally recommended.
Replacing a bulb in an old device often comes with thinking about modernization; to complete your installation, also see the small-base 130 V bulb (LA130P), the medium-base 130 V bulb (LA130M), an LED retrofit kit (LALED), a 6 V 9 W bulb (LA69), a 24 V 18 W tungsten bulb (LA249), an Exit sign with battery (LUMB), a replacement battery (LBLUM) or a Baghelli LED bar (LCBD142).
