The green Running Man pictogram has been adopted by the National Building Code of Canada in 2010. The 2015 version, section 3.4.5.1 (2)(b)(c), requires conformity with ISO 3864-1 and ISO 7010. The green Running Man pictogram replaces traditional red EXIT signs.

Circuitry :
This sign requires a continuous 120 V or 347 V AC power supply.

This economical model does not include an internal battery. In order to function in case of power outage, this sign must be connected to a 6 V, 12 V or 24 V DC emergency power supply.

The sign consumes 1.9 W under AC power and 0.9 W under DC power.

- One white powder-coated sign frame with LED strip;
- One back plate with spider knockouts;
- Two faceplates with screws;
- One centered pictogram;
- One pictogram with right arrow;
- One pictogram with left arrow;
- One universal canopy.

Configuration :
This sign may be single-faced for wall mounting, or double-faced for side mounting and ceiling mounting. The pictograms can be swapped by unscrewing the faceplates.

Use the centered pictogram when the sign is mounted directly above the emergency exit or in a hallway that leads directly to the exit. Use the pictograms with arrows to indicate the direction of escape when the sign is mounted in a corner or at an intersection.
