This organic vapor cartridge is designed to protect workers exposed to solvents, paints, glues and chemicals. Thanks to its advanced filtration technology, it guarantees safe breathing while offering prolonged comfort. It adapts perfectly to North respiratory masks, ensuring maximum sealing and constant performance.
The North cartridge stands out for its compatibility with several models of respiratory masks, its robustness and its efficiency against organic vapors. Sold in pairs, it represents an economical and practical solution for professionals in painting, construction and the chemical industry. Its lightness and ease of installation make it an essential product. This type of cartridge is ideal for work in chemical and petrochemical industries, construction and transportation.
Installing the North organic vapor cartridge is simple. Just attach each cartridge to the connectors of the respiratory mask of series 5400, 7600 or 7700. Correct installation guarantees perfect sealing and optimal protection against organic vapors. Regularly check the fit of the mask to maintain maximum safety.
Studies have shown that in the case of mixtures of contaminants, all contaminants are absorbed simultaneously on the surface of the carbon. When there is no more space, the most volatile solvent “breaks” the cartridge. If the cartridges have not reached their saturation limit, they are reusable. It is advisable to store them in a container or hermetic bag since they absorb contaminants in the air even if they are not worn. The cartridges are disposable, so there is no maintenance. It is recommended to respect the limits established by the manufacturer.
Use the North organic vapor cartridge only in environments where the concentration of contaminants respects the permitted exposure limits. Make sure the mask is properly adjusted before each use and replace the cartridges as soon as you notice increased breathing resistance or a smell of contaminants. These tips guarantee optimal respiratory protection.
The duration depends on the intensity and frequency of exposure, but it is recommended to replace them as soon as they show signs of saturation.
They are specially designed for North respiratory protection masks of series 5400, 7600 and 7700.
When breathing becomes difficult or organic vapor odors appear, it is time to replace it.
