The North 5400 full facepiece is specially designed to meet the needs of workers exposed to hazardous environments. Thanks to its ergonomic design and compatibility with North series N filters and cartridges, this full respirator ensures perfect sealing and maximum protection. It is recommended for industrial sectors, construction, painting, and any activity requiring a high level of respiratory safety.

NIOSH approved. Compatible with filters, cartridges, and combined cartridges of the North series N. Cartridges and filters are sold separately. Sold individually.

This respiratory protection mask is entirely made of thermoplastic (TPR). The head harness is equipped with 4 elastic straps in woven nylon that adjust at the mask level. It was designed to facilitate work, therefore it has a low-profile design that allows 200-degree vision. In addition, it is lightweight and comfortable. It contains no natural rubber latex.

Compatible with the following cartridges and combined cartridges of the North N series (sold separately):

• Cartridge against organic vapors/acid gases/multigas for North respirators series 5400, 7600 & 7700. (RN75SCL).
• Cartridge against organic vapors for North respiratory protection masks series 5400, 7600 & 7700. (RN75001).
• Combined cartridge against organic vapors for North respiratory protection series 5400, 7600 & 7700. (RN7581P100).
• Combined cartridge against organic vapor/acid gas/multigas for North respirators series 5400, 7600 & 7700. (RN75SCP100).
• Combined cartridge for protection against organic vapors and acid gases. (RN7583P100).

Restriction:

 It is not recommended to use a respiratory protection mask when a beard is visible. Indeed, facial hair or any other condition likely to prevent direct contact between the edge of the mask and the face may compromise the safety of a worker by not fully protecting him. Do not use if you suffer from a respiratory disease such as emphysema or asthma.

Do not use during sandblasting work nor where there are aerosol concentrations greater than 10 times the exposure limit allowed by CNESST or any other applicable government regulation. This respiratory protection mask must only be used in places that do not present a risk of oxygen deficiency.

In order to obtain a protection factor against concentrations of 50 times the exposure limit allowed by CNESST, it is imperative that the worker successfully passes a quantitative fit test.
