Aurora Tools cable ties bundle and secure cables, wires and small harnesses quickly and neatly. They are made of nylon (DuPont Zytel 101F and Ascend Vydyne 21SPF) in a natural colour and can be used from -20 to 80 °C. Five sizes are offered: 4 in (18 lb, bundle of 1/16 to 7/8 in), 6 in (40 lb, 1/16 to 1-1/4 in), 8 in (50 lb, 1/16 to 1-3/4 in), 11 in (50 lb, 1/16 to 3 in) and 15-1/2 in (120 lb, 1/16 to 4 in). The first four sizes are sold in bags of 1000, the 15-1/2 in size in bags of 100. Made in China, they are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
For an electrician organizing cables in a control panel, a technician securing harnesses in a cable tray, a warehouse crew bundling parts or tags before shipping, or a maintenance worker holding a sleeve to a structure. Choose the size according to bundle diameter and the required strength.
Store the bags in a dry place away from sunlight and heat. Respect the -20 to 80 °C range during use. Trim the excess tail flush with the head using a suitable tool, without leaving a sharp edge. Replace any tie that is cracked, stretched or exposed to a load greater than its strength.

The 4, 6, 8 and 11 in sizes are sold in bags of 1000, the 15-1/2 in size in bags of 100.

For an installer bundling cables in a cable tray with these ties, plan for Dentec Safety Ferno glasses (YA12E91001) with a clear polycarbonate lens and Superior Touch Dyneema composite gloves (GS13FGFNT) coated with nitrile foam. The fluorescent yellow long-sleeve high-visibility shirt (VV45), the 3M 8271 mask (R8271) with a Cool Flow valve for dusty ceilings and red and white striped adhesive warning tape (ECT750R) that marks the work area complete the equipment.
To identify bundles or parcels, the Markal Pro-Line fine paint marker (IPTCR-J) writes on plastic. For shipping, grey polyethylene tape (SAE3) seals bags, white and blue polypropylene twine (SAE6) ties packages and 14 in stretch film (SAE7) stabilizes loads. The disposable packaging cutter (SAEC5NSF) opens films and tapes, and the manual dispenser (SAE7D) helps apply stretch film around parcels.
