Weld-Mate Lava Brown sleeves provide arm coverage for welding operations requiring this type of garment. Their side split cowhide construction with Kevlar thread is completed by snap fasteners. The leather resists heat and flame, and the model carries the EN ISO 11611:2015 Class 2/A1+A2 designation. Each sleeve measures 23 in in length. Sold by the pair, they equip both arms as a complement to the clothing selected for the welding shop.
For completing work clothing when welding parts in a fabrication shop, repairing metal structures and carrying out selected welding maintenance operations. Select the sleeves and other protection according to the process, working position and arm exposure.
After work, allow the sleeves to dry if needed before storing them in a clean place. Inspect the leather, seams and snaps before wearing them again. Follow Weld-Mate cleaning instructions and replace sleeves with holes, heavy soiling or damaged fasteners.
Each sleeve is 23 in long, equivalent to 58.42 cm.
Yes. The sales unit includes one pair of sleeves.
They are made from side split cowhide and assembled with Kevlar thread.
The model carries the EN ISO 11611:2015 Class 2/A1+A2 designation. Select the complete clothing ensemble according to the welding operation.
Replace the sleeves if the leather has holes or heavy soiling, the seams are damaged or the snaps no longer hold.
For a welder preparing parts and then wearing these sleeves at the station, plan for clear anti-fog Solus glasses (YAS1101) for operations that allow them and fitted Kevlar knit inspector gloves (G120) for mechanical preparation. A valved 3M 8212 welding mask (R8212) and uncorded Laser Lite earplugs (OA1101) complete the protection to select according to exposure. Yellow bilingual restricted-entry warning tape (ECT3YB1) helps mark access to the workshop.
At the welding station, pair these sleeves with 12 in split cowhide welding gloves (G601) with a wing thumb or 15 in split cowhide Endura (G603) gloves for MIG and Stick welding. Leather gaiters (VCSPL4) 6.5 in high protect the top of the shoes, a flame-resistant Nomex cap (V308) covers the head under the helmet and an IR 3.0 polycarbonate welding visor (YV96R3) protects the face during grinding and permitted tasks.
