This lightweight, compact thermometer measures temperature quickly and easily, by inserting the thermometer stem at least halfway into the material. The stainless steel stem is compatible with a variety of substances and can be easily cleaned. When not in use, the stem is protected by a plastic sheath.

Stem thermometers are more impact-resistant than glass thermometers and do not contain mercury. The digital display is large and easy to read and offers useful additional functionalities over traditional dial displays.
