Do you work on the road, on a worksite or in a fire-risk environment where visibility is essential? This Ground Force flame-retardant traffic vest (model TV51O) combines two protections in one: high visibility and flame resistance. Compliant with the CSA Z96-22 standard, class 2 level 2 and the American ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 class 2 type R standard, it features a 5-point tearaway system for quick removal in case of snagging or emergency. Available in sizes from small (S) to 5XL: choose your size in the drop-down menu. Sold individually.
This vest is made of breathable HI-VIS Polyester FR mesh fabric, treated to resist flames while providing excellent comfort. It has 5 reflective stripes arranged in an X on the back; a 4" contrasting color tape and a 2" silver reflective tape on the front, back and waist maximize visibility in low light. The adjustable front hook-and-loop (Velcro) closure provides a secure fit, and a D-ring access slot on the back allows a harness to pass through or tools to be attached. The 5 Velcro attachment points detach easily in an emergency.

Flame-retardant orange signalling garments combine high visibility and flame resistance: they are designed for workers exposed to fire hazards who must also remain visible in low light. Class 2 targets workers operating near road traffic with a maximum speed of 80 km/h (low to moderate risk). Fluorescent orange is highly visible in daylight and under strong artificial lighting, but less so at night and in low light (dawn, dusk). The silver retroreflective stripes return light toward its source (flashlight, headlights): they offer maximum safety at dawn, dusk and night, but do not increase visibility in broad daylight.
Application: work exposed to fire and traffic hazards — construction, industry, roadwork; to be worn when working on roadways and roads. Restriction: the hook-and-loop bands could snag clothing, scarves or accessories; not recommended over delicate garments. Care: machine wash in cold water, inside out; hang to dry. Contaminated or dirty retroreflective material offers reduced visibility — keep the vest clean and in good condition.
It complies with the Canadian CSA Z96-22 standard, class 2 level 2, and the American ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 standard, class 2 type R.
