The Zenith SEB092 glove is a grey cut-resistant glove made of a 13-gauge HPPE (high-performance polyethylene) knit, coated with porous nitrile on the palm and fingers. Extremely tough, it offers excellent abrasion and cut resistance while remaining lightweight, comfortable and economical, without impairing tactile sensitivity. The seamless elastic-lined cuff molds to the skin and keeps out dust and debris. This glove is approved for use in food processing plants in Canada. Note: this glove is permeable to liquids.
Zenith manufacturer's code: SEB092
Cut resistance is ANSI level 2 and EN388 level 3. The EN388 performance level is 4342: 4/4 abrasion resistance, 3/5 cut resistance, 4/4 tear resistance and 2/4 puncture resistance.
This glove is comfortable, lightweight and economical, and it does not impair tactile sensitivity while providing excellent protection against cuts and abrasion. The nitrile foam coating offers excellent grip on both oily and slippery surfaces.
Nitrile foam has properties similar to ordinary nitrile, including chemical resistance and good tactile sensitivity. Its rough, non-slip texture improves grip on smooth objects and offers excellent grip on wet or oily objects. Nitrile foam offers better protection than similar latex foam. Its disadvantages are a slight loss of elasticity compared with ordinary nitrile (due to additives such as vulcanizing and foaming agents) and permeability caused by the presence of micropores. Nitrile foam does not protect against hazardous liquids or fluid contaminants such as biological fluids, infectious agents, pathogens or viruses.
This glove is recommended for workers in the food, automotive, glazing, HVAC and general maintenance industries, as well as metal stamping and small parts handling.
Nitrile has low flame resistance. As the glove is permeable to liquids, it does not protect against hazardous liquids and is not suitable for hand immersion.
Basic regular maintenance prolongs the life of your gloves. Wash them in cold water (i.e. 85°F/30°C) with a mild detergent. Rinse in cold water before drying. Then tumble-dry on a low setting. Never use bleach on this glove.
It offers ANSI level 2 and EN388 level 3 cut resistance, with an overall EN388 rating of 4342.
