Hood for flagmen winter coat (VV56). This waterproof hood is made of 300 denier polyester yarns laminated with polyurethane. The polyester yarn is woven according to the Oxford pattern. The material has a final thickness of 5 mm. The seams are glued and heat sealed to ensure waterproofness. It has two large transparent side windows and it is closed with cords.

Pioneer manufacturer code: V1190560-O/S, model 6037H.

This polyester cap laminated with polyurethane on the inside is made with 300 denier threads. In simple terms, this hood is of medium weight: light enough to provide comfort and heavy enough to provide adequate protection. By definition, 300 deniers express the weight of 9,000 m of the yarn used, so 300 deniers are equivalent to 300 g.

For the term Oxford, this is the type of weave. Oxford is widely used in the industry, especially for shirts, coats, bags, etc. Oxford weaves are obtained by crossing a weft thread (horizontal thread) and a warp thread (vertical thread) in order to create the checkered aspect that is so characteristic of it.

Fluorescent yellow (safety yellow-green) is highly visible during the day and in conditions with little natural light, such as dawn and dusk. In most situations, it also offers a high contrast to the background. Being lighter than orange, fluorescent yellow is more visible at night, but is not as visible in the dark as reflective stripes.

Maintenance:
This hood should always be machine-washed in a delicate setting with cold or lukewarm water, and a gentle soap. Never use bleaching agents or fabric softeners on this coat. It should also be air-dried in a sheltered spot out of direct sunlight. Never tumble dry, iron or dry clean this Hood.
