Protective shield for welding work, with yellow translucent vinyl
Ago Industries manufacturer's code: SC-001- :
This model of welding screen is available in several formats. You can choose from several options, such as the number of panels and panel size. Please select the model that suits your needs in the box above. These welding screens are also available in other materials. Such as translucent vinyl in orange, blue, green, dark green, combined yellow and dark green, fire-retardant cotton and finally polyvinyl. Consult the products activated by the hyperlink in green or consult the welding screen tab.
This material is specially formulated to absorb harmful ultraviolet rays, avoiding glare (“flashes”) to employees. Ideal for TIG and MIG welding stations. Although considered flame-resistant, the screens do not withstand prolonged contact with flames or molten metal. They will melt without igniting.
These screens are designed to prevent glare and burns to workers around welders. They exceed OSHA requirements for zone isolation in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), GMAW and TIG welding.
These screens help to isolate welding zones, protect workers and increase productivity because workers are visible and quickly perceive if an accident has just occurred.
The panels are suspended from the frame with hooks. The screen frame is made of lightweight, corrosion-resistant tubular steel, with folding, adjustable legs.
Castors are also available as extras. The number required varies according to the number of panels selected.

All vinyl panel color choices (except clear) absorb UV rays to prevent glare and burns caused by the electrical “flash”of the welding arc (photokeratitis).
Depending on specific environmental conditions, screens can also be made from other materials, such as fiberglass or aramid fiber.
Features :
Application:
Restriction:
This screen is a passive protection; correct installation planning is crucial to avoid blind spots.
Although fireproof, the screens do not withstand prolonged contact with flames or molten metal. They will melt without igniting.
Screens can lose their effectiveness when exposed to extreme climatic conditions, such as prolonged humidity or intense cold, which can weaken the material or alter the tint.
Dark tints reduce visibility directly through the screen. This can lead to worker isolation in the event of an accident. The choice of light colors or combined tints reduces this risk.
Care and service life :
Can be cleaned with soap and water, avoiding abrasive or bleaching agents. Can be repaired using an AGCG004 repair kit, or by replacing the vinyl parts or replacing pipe parts.
