Limitations and safe use

• NIOSH approved with 3M Secure Click facepieces. Do not use in atmospheres immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) or in oxygen-deficient atmospheres.
• Establish a cartridge change schedule and replace the cartridges no later than when the odour or taste of the contaminant is detected.
• Mercury vapour: discard the cartridge after no more than 50 hours of use. Formaldehyde: appropriate eye protection is required when used with a half facepiece.
• Use within a respiratory protection program that meets CSA Z94.4; read the 3M user instructions before use.
