Long waterproof high-visibility orange coat Pioneer "The Rock" model 5630, class 3 level 2
The long Pioneer® "The Rock" model 5630 coat in high-visibility orange is designed for workers exposed to both rain and traffic. Made of 300-denier oxford woven polyester coated with polyurethane, it delivers reliable waterproofing, good breathability and superior tear and abrasion resistance. Its maximum visibility rating (ANSI/ISEA 107 class 3, CSA Z96 class 3 level 2) and StarTech® retroreflective stripes make it an ideal choice for road signalling, construction and outdoor worksites in bad weather. Sold individually, available in sizes S to 5XL.
To be effective, high-visibility safety clothing must fit well and not hang loose around the body: too large, it can get caught in machinery; too small, it restricts movement. Choose your size from the drop-down menu above. Also available in yellow (VP5631).
Design of the 300-denier polyurethane-coated oxford polyester Pioneer 5630 coat
Made of oxford-woven polyester with a 300-denier yarn and a polyurethane coating, this coat ensures good waterproofing and wind resistance. It features superior tear and abrasion resistance and a half-mesh back for better ventilation and added comfort. It includes 2 lower flap pockets, a hood that folds inside the collar, a loose fit with a rear ventilation vent, and a nylon front zipper with snap-button storm flap.
The oxford weave, widely used in industry (shirts, coats, bags), is obtained by crossing a weft yarn and a warp yarn, providing strength and comfort. The 300 deniers express the weight of the yarn (300 g per 9,000 m): the coat is therefore of medium weight, light enough for comfort and sturdy enough for protection. The manufacturer cannot provide the thickness of the polyurethane lamination.
Class 3 level 2 high visibility and orange StarTech® retroreflective stripes
The coat is trimmed with premium 2-inch StarTech® retroreflective tape alternating with hi-viz orange bands: 2 vertical bands at the front, 2 X-crossed bands at the back, one horizontal band at the waist and a final one at knee level. This configuration gives it the highest visibility rating, class 3 level 2. The retroreflective tape is present on the front, sides, back and arms, providing 360° visibility.

Care of the polyurethane-coated polyester waterproof coat
To preserve waterproofing and the performance of the reflective stripes, let the coat air-dry, avoid direct heat and open flames. Store it flat or hung, away from prolonged sunlight. Replace the garment if the polyurethane coating cracks or if the retroreflective stripes peel off, as compliance with the standards would no longer be guaranteed.
